The deadline to register for the AP exam is October 15th, 2021.  Students can sign up late to take the exam up until March 15, 2022, but will incur a $40 late order fee, payable to our bookkeeper.  There is also a $40 fee for canceled exams or unused exams, so students need to make sure they know if they want to take the exam before the deadline to avoid any additional fees.  These late order or canceled course fees CANNOT be paid through Advanced Opportunity funds.

To sign up to take the exam, each student will sign into MyAP using their College Board account (or create a new account if necessary).  You will use the "join code" provided by your AP teacher to add the class.  You will see a REGISTER button in your class section view in MyAP after you join your class section. Clicking this button will allow you to select whether to take the exam, and will notify your AP coordinator who will order the exam for you.

The fee for the AP exam is $96.  Advanced Opportunities funds can be applied to cover the cost of the exam.  These funds need to be requested by students during the 3rd trimester of their course (or during the 2nd trimester if the course only is 2 trimesters long).  You must request funding directly through the State of Idaho Advanced Opportunities website.
